Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we process when you visit this website or contact us, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
A.R.S. — Active Resilience Solutions GmbHHornungsreuth 21
95512 Neudrossenfeld
Germany
Email: info@activeresiliencesolutions.de
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an EU-based provider. When you access the site, the server automatically collects and stores log data that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and operating system. This is technically necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).
3. Contact forms and enquiries
When you submit one of our forms (general brief, government procurement, or business & partnership), we process the data you provide — such as your name, organisation, email address, country, and the content of your message — solely to handle your enquiry. Where you attach documents, we process them for the same purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). Submissions are stored in our website system and forwarded to the relevant internal mailbox. We delete enquiries once they are no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.
4. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you our monthly brief. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time with effect for the future.
5. Email delivery
We use Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd.) as our email provider to send and receive correspondence. Appropriate data-protection agreements are in place. Data may be processed on Google infrastructure for this purpose.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers and sets no marketing cookies. Web fonts are self-hosted on our own server — no external font network (such as Google Fonts) is contacted. Only technically necessary mechanisms required to operate the site are used.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@activeresiliencesolutions.de.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
9. Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser address bar.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our processing or to legal requirements. The current version always applies.
